Dyson has issued a voluntary recall of 1.8 million air purifiers sold in the United States after reports of electrical components overheating and, in 23 cases, causing small fires.

- Dyson Pure Hot+Cool HP09 (2024-2025 models)
- Dyson Big Quiet Formaldehyde (all models)
What to Do
Owners should immediately unplug affected units and register for a free repair or full refund at dyson.com/recall. Dyson is offering free in-home pickup for the recalled units and a 30% discount on replacement models.
The CPSC reports 23 fire incidents and 3 minor burn injuries. No deaths have been reported.
