The FDA has issued an urgent recall for multiple Blue Buffalo and Purina dog food products after testing revealed vitamin D levels 50x above safe limits, which can cause kidney failure in dogs.

Symptoms to Watch For
Excessive thirst, loss of appetite, vomiting, dark urine, and lethargy. If your dog has eaten recalled food, contact your vet immediately. The FDA reports 45 dog illness complaints and 3 deaths linked to the contamination.
