Remedy
Samsung is offering free in-home power supply replacement by certified technicians, scheduled through Samsung's recall hotline or website. Until repaired, the CPSC recommends unplugging affected TVs when not in use. Samsung has identified a capacitor defect in the power supply board from a specific component supplier as the root cause.
