The recall covers 42 product lines including chicken nuggets, strips, patties, and prepared meals sold under Tyson, Great Value, and store brand labels at virtually every major US grocery chain.
Health Risk
Listeria can cause serious illness in pregnant women, elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. The CDC reports 14 confirmed illnesses and 3 hospitalizations linked to the contamination.
