Fisher-Price has announced a voluntary recall of approximately 500,000 infant bouncer seats after receiving 67 reports of the restraint buckle failing to secure properly, posing a fall hazard to infants. The recall affects the Deluxe Kick and Play Bouncer models sold at major retailers nationwide between March 2024 and February 2026.

The company identified a manufacturing defect in the buckle assembly that can cause the latch mechanism to release under normal use conditions. While no serious injuries have been reported, 11 incidents involved infants partially sliding out of the seat before caregivers intervened.

Parents and caregivers are instructed to stop using the affected bouncers immediately and contact Fisher-Price for a free replacement buckle assembly. The company is also offering a full refund option for consumers who prefer not to continue using the product.
