The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 380,000 WarmZone Pro electric space heaters after receiving 45 reports of overheating and 12 reports of fires, including three that resulted in property damage. No injuries have been reported.
The recalled heaters were sold online and at home improvement stores nationwide between October 2025 and March 2026. The defect involves a faulty thermostat that may fail to shut off the heating element when the unit reaches unsafe temperatures.
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the heaters and contact WarmZone for a full refund. The company is offering free return shipping and has set up a dedicated recall hotline for affected customers.
